Privacy Policy

Scope and developer

This policy covers HeartTrace for iPhone, Apple Watch, watch complications, and this website. HeartTrace is provided by independent developer LiuKai. Contact: 973294382@qq.com.

No HeartTrace account is required. The app does not collect or upload personal information, health records, or usage activity to a developer-operated server. Website hosting, Apple services, and messages you choose to send involve separate processing described below.

Health data and permissions

With your permission, HeartTrace reads heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability (SDNN), and blood oxygen through Apple HealthKit for charts, historical comparisons, complications, and reports you choose to create. Health data is processed on your devices, not sent to the developer, and not used for advertising, profiling, or data sales. The app does not write or modify original Health records.

Change permissions in your device’s Health or privacy settings at any time. Denying or revoking access limits related features; it does not give the developer access to your records. Revoking read access does not automatically erase an existing local cache.

iPhone, Watch, and local storage

Settings and health snapshots are stored in app or App Group containers for the app and complications on the same device. Settings and necessary health snapshots may sync between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch through Apple WatchConnectivity, not a developer-operated server.

Local preferences remember display choices, version notices, rating prompts, and help checklist items. They do not create a developer-accessible activity profile. Imported watch faces remain local. Apple backup and Health sync features depend on your system settings and Apple policies.

Subscriptions and free trials

Auto-renewable subscriptions and eligible free trials are provided and processed through the Apple App Store. Eligibility, trial length, billing period, local price, and renewal conditions are those shown for the actual product in the app and Apple confirmation sheet. Trials are available only when offered for the plan and you are eligible.

Unless canceled in time, a trial converts to a paid subscription, and subscriptions renew automatically. Manage or cancel them under iPhone Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. If you do not want a trial to renew, cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

The app verifies purchase and subscription access on-device with StoreKit. We do not receive card details or Apple Account passwords, or upload individual transaction records to our own server. Apple independently handles payments, eligibility, and refunds. The developer may receive sales and financial reports from Apple; this does not involve the app uploading personal health records.

Exports and voluntary contact

CSV/PDF reports are generated locally and sent only when you choose a destination through system sharing. Recipients are responsible for subsequent handling. Choose recipients carefully.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and attachments to respond and handle necessary follow-up. We delete them when no longer needed, unless retention is legally required. Avoid unnecessary health records or sensitive information. The app’s no-collection design does not mean that messages you voluntarily send are not received.

Website and third-party services

This static website has no accounts, forms, advertising, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies set by us. Language selection uses no location detection or browser storage. Hosting provider Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request information, and network logs to deliver pages, maintain security, and provide services across its global infrastructure. Visiting this page does not upload health records from the app.

Apple processes App Store, system Health services, and payment information under its own policies. External websites have their own privacy practices.

Retention, deletion, and choices

Local caches and preferences remain until replaced or removed. Delete the iPhone and Watch apps to remove their app data; shared containers and backups depend on installed components and Apple’s system behavior. Deleting HeartTrace does not delete original Apple Health records or cancel subscriptions.

The developer has no health-record server and cannot access, export, or delete local health data for you. For contact information you voluntarily provide, email us to request access, correction, or deletion. We respond within applicable legal time limits without requesting unnecessary identity or health information.

Mainland China and United States

The Simplified Chinese and English versions describe the same practices. For Mainland China users, health information is sensitive personal information used on-device for selected features under system authorization. The app does not transfer health records to developer-operated servers overseas. Global website hosting logs and voluntary email contact are separate as described above.

For United States users, we do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use health information for targeted advertising. This policy does not limit rights under applicable law.

Children

HeartTrace is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. Minors should use health permissions, purchases, and sharing with guardian guidance. Contact us if you believe a child has voluntarily sent personal information to the developer.

Changes and contact

We update the date on this page when practices change and provide further notice or obtain authorization where appropriate. A policy update does not bypass system permissions. For privacy questions, contact independent developer LiuKai at 973294382@qq.com.
